ADHD assessent for children and young people makes a positive difference in their lives.
Parents and carers sometimes struggle to find the right assessor, a good ongoing medicaiton review, and a tailor-made care plan for their unique needs.
At The Online Therapy Clinic we have specialist online ADHD assessments and prescribing services.
Having the right supports and answers, can make a difference in children.
We pride ourselves to maintain the highest level of privacy and all our experts adhere to the regulatory bodies ethical and professional guidelines (BABCP, HCPC, BACP, etc).
Therapists are all registered with the ICO, and our booking system is GDPR compliment.
We pride ourselves on offering rapid access to care.
Because our service is fully online, we bypass the typical infrastructure delays of physical clinics.
However, our assessment is very in depth and there are few forms that need to be filled in prior your appointment.
This depends on the age of your child.
With young children, parents have an active collaborative role and they are often seen with their child and alone.
When working with older children, you will also be included as parent or carer.
You will likely be involved in the assessment phase, and for younger children parents are met forehand alone to get a picture of difficulties.
Therapy can last from 4 to 6 sessions for some people, and usually can take 8 to 14 sessions to work on specific areas. Sometimes, in complex cases session may be 20 to 30.
We are all individuals so best option would be to speak to one of our Mental Health Specialists, and after an assessment a bespoke personalised plan will be agreed.
